Bamber Bridge want FA Cup tonic

Buoyant Bamber Bridge manager Phil Entwistle is looking for a cup tonic after three games without a win in the UniBond League First Division North.
Brig, first-day victors at FC Halifax Town, leaked three quick goals in two Bank Holiday matches, ultimately losing 4-1 to Newcastle Blue Star and 3-2 at Skelmersdale.
But Entwistle has a chance to put things right when Colwyn Bay visit Irongate tomorrow.
He said: "We face them away in the league next Saturday, so want to get it right first time. We don't want to play them Tuesday too.
"I'd rather have a chance to get back on track in the league tomorrow, but we did well in the FA Cup last year, reaching the last qualifying round, and would love that chance again.
"The last two games followed a similar pattern and mad 10-minute spells cost us three goals each time. But Blue Star were the best team I've seen at Irongate and we threw all bar the kitchen sink at Skelmersdale to get back to 3-2 on Monday.
"So far we've played three teams I consider will be in the top five at the end of the season."
Defenders Glenn Steel and Adam Tong are injury concerns, but Stuart Howson, Stephen Brown and Lee Flitcroft could be in contention.
Entwistle added: "We could bring in four or five different faces after the opening few games took a toll on the team."
Also on the FA Cup trail are Vodkat League side AFC Fylde, who host Sheffield, the world's oldest club, in the first-ever FA Cup match at Kellamergh Park.
The visitors are one level above Fylde and are currently UniBond First Division South leaders, but Fylde boss Mick Fuller said: "It is excellent to be in a position to host teams like this in the best club competition in the world, and I would like to think we will make inroads into placing us in the history books."
Clitheroe are also in FA Cup preliminary round action, up in Cumbria to face Penrith, having impressed in the UniBond First Division North so far, currently fourth after three wins in four.
And in the UniBond Premier Division, Kendal Town travel to Cheshire's Nantwich Town.
