Labour councillor becomes mayor (with audio)

Labour councillor John Swindells will officially become Preston's new mayor on Wednesday.
The mayor-making ceremony will take place at the town hall at 6pm.

Coun Swindells, who first joined the council in 2000, will take over the mayoral chains for the next 12 months from Coun Christine Abram.
