The fate of the Ribble Piddler statue, which stood on the bank of the Ribble Link until January, will be decided on April 25.
The £21,000 wooden naked man was removed from its Cottam home by British Waterways because its legs were rotting.

A spokesman, said: "We have been examining the best options for this popular figure and we are optimistic that he will continue to play a role in the future."

Well, it was a shock when they took him down. One minute he was there, crumbling away, the next he wasn't. The thing is, and this is something many who don't walk past the locks he was "piddling into" won't appreciate, I actually miss the chap. So what if he cost £21,000, he has a sentimental value.
