Young Lancashire people have been offered the chance to work for an international engineering company.
Alstom has launched its 2014 campaign to find 32 new apprentices and 17 new graduates.
And some of the jobs will be based in Preston.
The company is looking for eight apprentices and four graduates for its transport division based across the UK, including Preston. It also wants 12 apprentices and eight graduates for its grid division (all based in Stafford), and 12 apprentices and five graduates for its power division (based across a number of locations in Ashby-De-La-Zouch).
Terence Watson, Alstom’s UK President, said: “It’s vital that we develop the next generation of engineers.”
