A group of 30 young people got wet and wild to help their community.
The youngsters teamed up with Preston North End and Community Gateway Association to organise up a car wash and cake sale to raise funds for a project aimed at giving something back to the community.
The cash was used to fund a games event at a retirement home for residents who do not have any relatives.
The youngsters are also supporting homeless charity EMMAUS and arranged for clothing retailer TK Max to donate bundles of clothes and personal hygiene items for a hamper.
The team will work as volunteers in charity shops across Preston, they are painting of a communal changing area at Vida Sports Centre and carrying out a litter pick at a local school as part of the project.
