A Saturday sports project is celebrating the delivery of new eqipment thanks to a local housing association.
The project, run by Lancaster Boys and Girls Club, has secured cash from Adactus Housing Association’s (AHA) Neighbourhood Fund. The cash has been used to buy sport equipment including footballs, rugby balls, badminton nets, table tennis equipment and more.
The sports club provides young people a safe and friendly environment were they can make new friends and learn new skills along the way.
Samantha Hornsby, Neighbourhood Development Officer at Adactus said, “We are very proud to support such a worth while project.
“The children love having a place to go and it is really nice to see the difference this is making in the community”.
