Woman taken ill at railway station

A woman was taken to hospital after falling ill at Preston railway station.

A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said they were called at 9.15am today.

BTP officers, along with paramedics from North West Ambulance Service, attended to help.

The spokesman said: “The woman was treated at the scene and has been taken to the Royal Preston Hospital.”
