1 What appealed to you most about the property?
We were astounded at the deceptively spacious accommodation, with its excellent and versatile layout. It suited our needs for a growing family and has a light, airy and homely feel. The house is elevated and therefore enjoys privacy from the surrounding properties. The rear south west facing garden is not overlooked and will remain so. The house has a prime position within the cul de sac. There is very little traffic so it has a safety aspect.
2 How long have you lived in the property?
We have lived here for 17 very happy years amongst lovely, respectable neighbours. During our time here we have extensively renovated and refurbished the property to a very high standard.
3 What have you done to the property?
Full internal renovation of the property including the recent fitting of a superb kitchen, beautiful bathroom and lovely en-suite. A luxury master bedroom has been fitted and further bedrooms fitted and upgraded. We have very recently refurbished the dining room and also the second lounge/family room. We have tastefully decorated throughout. Externally, we have laid a separate, totally private two level south-west facing side garden, ideal for relaxing and barbecues.
4 Why are you selling?
My eldest son moved out two years ago and as we have more living space than we really need, we are looking to downsize slightly.
5 What is your favourite room and why?
I would choose two. The lounge, due to its light and airy aspect and also the recently refurbished second lounge/family room, with French doors to the rear garden. It is blissful in summer and lovely to watch the sunset behind the trees over on the adjacent golf course.
6 What will you miss most about moving?
We have been extremely happy and settled here. I shall miss this beautiful home for many reasons. We have raised our family here, have lovely neighbours and have made so many improvements and upgrades to the property. We have been spoilt!
7 How close are the amenities?
A prime location for good and outstanding primary and secondary schools. RPH is a very short drive away and the motorway networks are close by. The location is handy for Preston Grasshoppers, Fulwood Leisure centre, library, banks, shops,supermarkets and good restaurants.
8 To whom would this property be best suited?
It is well suited to either a family or a couple wanting oodles of quality space in a friendly and desirable position in the cul-de-sac, in a popular area. This house is fully renovated, immaculate and ready to move into.
