A collection at ASDA in Fulwood for a sponsored bike ride in aid of Derian House Children’s Hospice totalled £1,200.
A team of six workers from Springfield Nuclear Fuels in Salwick, rode an exercise bike for six hours in the shop foyer on Saturday, to raise awareness of their upcoming trip from Lands End to John O’Groats.
They hope to complete the 840-mile journey in 48 hours, raising £10,000.
