Walk for charity
This trio of walkers are gearing up to cover over 100 miles in aid of charity.
Firefighter Roy Pagett, 45, of Latham Crescent, Tarleton, son Nic, a 19-year-old labourer and emergency community support officer Andy Curry, 43, from Preston, will set off on a 127 and a quarter mile walk tomorrow.
They will walk the distance of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, sleeping under the stars in bivvy bags along the way, to raise money for the North West Air Ambulance and Cash for Kids.
They are hoping to raise in excess of 2,000.
