People are being urged to put on their walking shoes for a heart charity’s annual walk and heart disease awareness event.
Heartbeat, which is a cardiac rehabilitation cause based on Garstang Road, in Preston, will hold the Let’s Get Lancashire Lively event on Saturday, September 21.
The event will be held from 11am to 3pm, and there will be routes for all abilities from half a kilometre to one, two or three kilometres.
As well as the walk, there will be fun for kids, entertainment, music, a vintage market and healthy food.
People can join in the walk and visit the information village and find out more about heart disease and what can be done to prevent it.
Heart patients are urged to bring along their family, friends or colleagues to help celebrate their survival or recovery from a heart problem.
Others are invited to walk in memory of a loved one and help raise awareness of the work Heartbeat does.
The cost is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children under 15.
Registration forms are available from Heartbeat on 01772 717147.
