X Factor reject Wagner has revealed that he think One Direction’s Niall Horan will give up singing in favour of ‘beer and golf’.
The Brazilian singer was performing at the two Withy Arms pubs in Leyland and Bamber Bridge as part of their Bank Holiday weekend beer festivals.
Before the performance, he spoke to the Evening Post and revealed his predictions for the members of One Direction, who recently announced they will be starting solo careers.
Wagner, who was eliminated from The X Factor 2010 in week eight, said: “I think Harry and Liam will do well, because Liam always wanted to be a solo artist, he never wanted to be part of a group.
“It seems that Zane really wanted to have a solo career.
“I’m not sure about Liam, I think that he is really business minded.
“Niall loves his beer and he loves playing golf so he might just rest on the money he made. One thing for certain, they don’t have to worry about money.”
The singer also revealed that he plans to marry his girlfriend, and mother of his two children, but does not want a big wedding.
“I really want a simple wedding, I just want to get the paperwork done,” he said.
He added that no-one will be singing at the wedding.
Dozens of fans showed up to watch Wagner’s performance at the pubs on Saturday night.
John Travill, landlord at the Leyland pub, explained: “He’s on our Facebook page and we thought we’d do something different.
“He was playing in Scotland on the Saturday, so he was travelling back.”
The Brazilian performer did 20-minute slots before meet and greet sessions with the audience and having photographs taken.
“It went down fantastic,” said John. “We had all ages here looking for entertainment value.”
