Fashionistas from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston saw their colourful collections showcased on the catwalk for Graduate Fashion Week.
The fashion design students showed off their eye-catching creations at London’s Old Truman Brewery on Saturday evening, as part of the annual talent show.
A host of undergraduates from a range of UCLan courses including fashion promotion, fashion brand management, fashion styling and fashion entrepreneurship, also displayed their work to more than 25,000 people over the four-day event. Glenda Brindle, dean of the School of Art, Design and Performance, said: “The UCLan fashion courses have a worldwide reputation for encouraging students to be both individual and innovative with the ability to blend creative freedom in response to market awareness.
“The work our students have exhibited at GFW shows what fantastic creations can be produced by enthusiastic students, with help from excellent teaching staff and top class facilities.
“There’s no doubt our students will go on to be driving forces in the fashion world.”
UCLan was one of 42 universities taking part Graduate Fashion Week.
