TV spook investigator wants tales

TV presenter Jason Karl is planning to produce a book on Lancashire's ghost zones.

He is well known as a face of paranormal television and has presented countless television programmes focusing on the strange and the unusual.

Jason will be helped by the owner of the historic and haunted Mains Hall in Singleton, Adele Yeomans.

Jason said: "There is no house more haunted than Mains Hall, with almost 30 different ghosts it has to be the most haunted house in Lancashire."

The pair will scout the Lancastrian landscape for ghoulish and ghostly stories and the book will be a collection of true accounts.

It will be published in October by Carnegie Publishing of Lancaster.

The book is a tie-in with a new mini-series for BBC Radio Lancashire called 'The Ghost Zone' which has been recorded throughout the first half of 2006 with Jason following a team of Mediums to haunted houses.

The programmes will be broadcast from the autumn as part of Carole Turner's 'The Late Show'.

The authors are now appealing to anyone who has seen a ghost, or had any kind of supernatural encounter within the North West region, to contact them via email ghostzone@jasondexterkarl.com
