The face of The One Show, Mike Dilger, visited WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre to take on the challenge of feeding thousands of Whooper swans.
Mike, one of the most widely watched wildlife presenter on TV, visited the centre on Monday.
He arrived at the centre at midday and was trained up to do the 3pm to 3.30pm swan feeds at the centre.
The TV favourite is visiting all nine WWT centres in as many days as part of a Big Nine Challenge to raise money for the spoon-billed sandpiper conservation breeding programme.
In the evening he hosted a talk entitled ‘The Trials and Tribulations of a TV Naturalist’ that was attended by 100 people.
Mike’s nine day challenge started on January 25.
