Tributes have been paid following the death of a former county councillor.
Keith Roach, who served from 1983 to 1997, died this week and condolences were offered by political leaders at County Hall.
Mr Roach was a county councillor for the Conservative party in Heysham, and served on committees including social services, libraries, education, policy and resources.
County Coun Tony Jones said: “He put the county first, he put the party second and he put himself last. He will be greatly missed.”
His funeral will be held on Tuesday.
