Traffic delays caused by three-car smash
Traffic was backing up onto the M6 northbound near Preston this morning after a three-vehicle collision in Fulwood.
Police said the smash, at the Asda roundabout on Eastway, caused tailbacks stretching up Andertons Way and Longsands Lane towards the motorway.
There were reports that the jams affected vehicles trying to exit the M6 at junction 31A.
The collision, involving three cars, happened around 8.40am. An ambulance was called, although it is not clear if there were any serious injuries.
