Pensioner knocked off his motability scooter
A 67-year-old man was injured when his motability scooter collided with a minibus in Penwortham this afternoon.
The collision happened near to the junction of Liverpool Road and Central Drive at around 1.15pm.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene and then took his to the Royal Preston Hospital.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: “A man, aged 67, was knocked off his motability scooter in a collision on Liverpool Road.
“At this stage it appears he only has a slight head injury.”
The collision caused tailbacks on the A59 in both directions.
