Motorway closed as car flips
The M55 has been closed after a car flipped onto its roof
The incident happened at around 5.20pm today.
The eastbound carriageway has been closed between Blackpool and Kirkham with police warning of delays on the motorway and surrounding roads.
The car is understood to have blocked the two outside lanes of the road.
The female driver is understood to have escaped without serious injury.
