Lane temporarily closed after crash on southbound M6

One lane was closed on the southbound M6 following a crash.

A lane was temporarily closed following the accident on the M6.

The accident happened at around 11.30am on March 29 between junctions 33 and 32 for the M55, say police.

The crash was reported as "damage only."

The scene was cleared with assistance from Highways North West.

A tweet by Lancashire Road Police said: "Temporary block on M6 south near Garstang to clear RTC in live lane. Assistance from @HighwaysNWEST All clear now."
