Heavy traffic sees workers delayed
Being late for work has been a common theme this morning after heavy congestion in the Broughton and Fulwood areas of Preston.
Police report there has been no incidents to cause the lines of traffic but the LEP has had several motorists calling in to report long delays.
The main areas affected appear to be Eastway, near Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club and on the A6 leading up to and past Broughton at around 8am this morning.
Anyone travelling past either area should allow plenty of time for their journey.
