Drunk driver swerved across motorway - in front of a police car
A drunk driver who nodded off at the wheel and swerved in front of a police car on the M6 has been arrested.
The vehicle swerved in front of a Sergeant of the North West Motorway Police on the M6 at Charnock Richard.
He swerved from lane 1 to lane 3, then ploughed into the grass verge next to the central reservation barrier before correcting.
He was pulled over and arrested at the roadside on Sunday morning.
