Round-up of traffic news around Lancashire

Gritters will be out on Lancaster rural priority routes this evening due to a frost risk. Lancaster rural priority routes are forecast to fall below zero tonight with a risk of frost.

Main roads in east Lancashire will be gritted tonight from 6pm. There is a small risk of ice/snow and road temperatures are expected to reach -1.6C.

Main roads where frost is forecast will be treated in south and central Lancashire from 6pm tonight. Frost is expected and road surface temperatures reaching -1.8C. Motorists are warned to drive with care during wintry conditions.

The M65 westbound entry slip at junction J6 is closed, due to an overturned vehicle. Road expected to re-open from 6pm.

On the A628 eastbound between the junctions with the A57 and the A616, there are currently delays of 15 minutes due to heavy traffic. Normal traffic conditions expected from 5pm
