Round-up of traffic news

Main roads in central and south Lancashire will be gritted tonight from 6pm.

Frost and road temperatures reaching between -4C and -6C are predicted.

Gritters will be out on main roads in Lancaster, Wyre and Fylde this evening. Road surface temperatures are forecast to fall well below zero tonight with a risk of frost on some routes.

On the A628 westbound between the junctions with the A616 and the A57, there are currently delays of 15 minutes due to a serious accident. Normal traffic conditions expected from 5pm.

On the A628 eastbound between the junctions with the A57 and the A616, there are currently delays of 30 minutes due to an incident. Normal traffic conditions expected from 5pm.

On the A500 northbound between the junctions with the A50 and the A53, there are currently delays of 30 minutes caused by congestion due to an accident closing two lanes at the junction with the A53. Normal traffic conditions expected from 4.30pm.

M6 Lancashire - M6 lane closed on exit slip road southbound at J29, M65 (Lostock Hall), because of an accident.

On the M6 southbound between junctions J11 and J9, there are currently delays of 20 minutes caused by congestion due to an earlier accident. Normal traffic conditions expected from 5pm.

On the M6 southbound between junctions J13 and J12, there are currently delays of 10 minutes caused by congestion due to an earlier broken down vehicle. Normal traffic conditions expected from 4.45pm.
