Main roads in east Lancashire will be gritted tonight from 6pm. Snow and ice are predicted and temperatures are expected to reach -5c.
South and central Lancashire main roads are to be gritted tonight from 6.30pm. Frost and temperatures of -2.7c is expected and motorists are warned there is a risk of ice on roads.
Main and secondary roads are to be gritted in Wyre, Fylde and Lancaster districts. The odd light sleet or snow shower is forecast this afternoon up to 6pm. Tomorrow there will be outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow from 6am onwards, becoming more persistent towards midday.
