Motorists in Preston are being made aware of two ongoing road schemes close to a busy motorway.
On the M6 where junction 32 meets the M55 junction 1, resurfacing work will be carried out overnight on the southbound section.
The work is due to begin on Monday and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
Lane closures and a 50 miles-per-hour speed limit will be in place. It is due to be completed by Wednesday.
Also in the area, near junction 31A at Fulwood, drivers are being warned of possible delays as work to add two extra lanes to the motorway slip road, which takes traffic from the motorway onto Bluebell Way continues.
Traffic signals will also be added to the roundabout.
The work is being carried out by the council on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency and is due to be completed by January 19.
