A top snooker event coming to Preston later this month will be sponsored by Wyldecrest Parks.
World Snooker announced that the holiday lodge operator will sponsor the Players Championship Grand Final for the first time.
The tournament at the Guild Hall, to be known as the Wyldecrest Park Homes Players Championship Grand Final, will run from March 25 to 29 and feature 32 of the world’s leading players battling for the £100,000 top prize.
World Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan, world number one Neil Robertson, Chinese ace and defending champion Ding Junhui, plus John Higgins and Shaun Murphy will be among those competing for the trophy.
Wyldecrest is a residential mobile park home and holiday lodge operator.
World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said: “Wyldecrest have shown tremendous support for snooker by sponsoring a range of tournaments in recent years.”
Wyldecrest Parks chairman Alfie Best added: “Our residents are great snooker fans and we are delighted to be once again sponsoring such a high quality event with some of the world’s top players competing.”
