Three taken to hospital after two-car crash

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars in Preston.

The collision happened at the junction of Garstang Road and St George's Road at around 8pm on Tuesday.

Two women and a man were taken to Royal Preston Hospital following the incident.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: "They were not really seriously injured.

"One of the cars ended up in the barrier that used to be Canterbury Hall."
