Three injured in crash

Three people were taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars in Preston.

The collision happened at around 8pm on Tuesday at the junction of Garstang Road and St George's Road.

Two women and a man were taken to Royal Preston Hospital.

A North West Ambulance Service spokesman said: "They were not really seriously injured. One of the cars ended up in the barrier that used to be Canterbury Hall."
