Firefighters in Lancashire are set to go on strike over the Christmas period.
Crews will walk out as part of an ongoing row over pensions on three separate dates.
They will strike on Christmas Eve between 7pm and midnight, on New Year’s Eve from 6.30pm until 12.30am and on January 3 from 6.30am until 8.30am.
Firefighters who are members of the Fire Brigades Union have walked out six times in recent months.
The latest strike action took place over the weekend.
Fire bosses say they will be able to maintain an emergency cover and they are urging members of the public to be extra vigilant.
Chief Fire Officer for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, Chris Kenny added: “Even at this late stage I sincerely hope that Government and FBU will soon arrive at a negotiated settlement and we have written to the Government to urge progress.”
