Staff at Lancaster and Morecambe Visitor Information Centres (VIC) and Williamson Park in Lancaster have been shortlisted a tourism award.
The team has been shortlisted to receive an award in the Customer Service Award category and Williamson Park in Lancaster for a Large Visitor Attraction Award. Both entries are run by Lancaster City Council.
Coun Ron Sands, Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism, said: “Being shortlisted for two awards is enormous recognition of the exceptionally high standards of professionalism, dedication and commitment demonstrated by both our visitor information staff and Williamson Park staff in providing a first class service and fulfilling the needs of each and every visitor and customer.”
The Marketing Lancashire Awards recognise the achievements of tourism businesses, winners will be announced in November.
