Plans to turn a fishing shop into a hot food takeaway have been recommended for refusal.
The scheme at Watkin Lane in Lostock Hall has attracted four letters of objection with residents worried about the potential for late night noise and littering.
The applicant wants to turn the bait and tackle store into a takeaway but planning officers at South Ribble Council have raised concerns.
County council roads bosses said they also feared the scheme could have a negative effect on traffic, with customers parking up on the kerb to collect food.
Council officers have recommended South Ribble’s planning committee knock back the application at a meeting on October 23.
