Support group receives a tasty £300 treat

The Preston and Chorley Fibro Chronic Pain Support group is celebrating after receiving a £300 donation from the GALAXY Hot Chocolate Fund.

The group was formed by fibromyalgia sufferers in the area to provide a platform for people to meet and talk to others who suffer similar illnesses.

The charity has been running for two years. It offers yoga, relaxation and subsidised hydrotherapy pool sessions.

Chairperson Natalie Hicks, said: “With this donation from the GALAXY Hot Chocolate Fund we can now provide hydrotherapy sessions at a subsidised rate.”

Fibromyalgia is pain and stiffness in the muscles, ligaments and tendons.
