The city was bathed in a riot of colour as Preston got a taste of the Caribbean.

The annual Caribbean Carnival, now in its 40th year, began at Moor Park, taking a circuit around the city in glorious sunshine before heading back to the park to continue the festivities until late on Sunday evening.
