This year’s Miss Preston looked every inch the star as she posed for her first photo shoot since winning her crown.
Stephanie Leeson, who took the city title in October, chose the Harris Museum for her first shoot.
Now the 22-year-old, originally from Garstang, is determined to become involved in charity events across the area and try to become a “better Miss Preston”.
Stephanie, an account and marketing manager, said she had been trying to keep busy since she won the competition.
She said: “What I’m trying to do is attend some charity events – I’ve made a portfolio of pictures to see if I can get some more outings.
“I want to actually do something for the city.”
The former Garstang High School and Cardinal Newman College pupil said she loved being Miss Preston.
She said: “I love my role, it’s really good, and I’ve loved going to different events.
“I would love to do something for charity or do some events around Preston.”
Stephanie has now had her first photo shoot as Miss Preston, and chose city locations for the photographs.
She was pictured wearing evening gowns at the Harris Museum, and wearing party and evening wear at the city’s Baluga bar and nightclub.
She said she hoped the shoot would give her more experience and make her a better Miss Preston.
Stephanie will now represent Preston in the semi final of this year’s Miss England competition in May.
She said: “There is a sports round so I’ve been trying to get fit!
“I would love to represent Preston in the Miss England final, but we’ve got to take it step by step and hopefully get through the semi final.”
Stephanie said he loved meeting new people through her role as Miss Preston.
She said: “Hopefully, in the pipe line, I’m hoping to represent Preston more and be a good figure for the city.”
