Voluntary organisations in Lancashire who are in contact with adult carers will have the opportunity to apply for a small grant to help fund their work.

There will be a special meeting at Lancashire County Council’s East Cliff offices on Wednesday, January 30 for voluntary, community and faith sector groups to find out more about the grants.

The event will take place at 2pm in the main conference room.Organisations who attend will be able to learn how to bid for the grants, which range from £2,000 to £15,000.

The total budget available for allocation is £130,000 which includes funding specifically for health-related projects for carers in north Lancashire. The closing date for applications is March 1.
