A talented singer will perform in a contest no behalf of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Chloe Dent, 16, from Preston, will sing in the final of the Furness Building Society Charity Challenge at the Lancaster Grand Theatre on February 8 to win a share of more than £3,000.
Thirteen finalists will compete for prizes of £1,000 for first place, £750 for second place, and £500 for third place, with £100 for each of the other finalists so that all of the charities represented on stage will benefit.
The other finalists include Kim Braysford for The Space Centre Preston, Ryan Hamilton and Craig Payne for The Space Centre Preston and Andrew Farringdon for The Foxton Centre, Preston. Rosemere Cancer Foundation is one of the most successful affinity partners with the Furness and last year received almost £25,000 from the Society’s own funds as a result of supporters saving in the special accounts.
Tickets are £5 each and are available through Lancaster Grand Theatre box office on 01524 64695.
