A bumper crowd turned out for the annual Goosnargh and Longridge Show on Saturday.
Activities and exhibits on the show field in Lower Lane, Longridge, included a vintage tractor display, a heavy horse show, a dog agility display and a parade.
There was also a bar, music from the Bilsborrow Jazzmen, and free activities for children, including a bouncy castle, rides, and mini motorbikes.
Jean Hill, who ran the horticulture section, which had a special prize for schoolchildren in memory of former secretary Peter Knowles, said: “It was an excellent day. We had a lot more people than last year, and that was helped by the sunny weather.
“We also had a more entries this year for the heavy horses and foals show, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.”
She added: “The show really brings a lot of folk together in the community, to celebrate the farming industry, but there were also visitors from France and Canada who were in the area and wanted to see what was happening.”
