Search for happy projects
Projects in Lancashire which help children and young people to live happier, healthier lives are being sought for an annual awards ceremony.
The winners in the Health For Kids Awards 2009 will be presented with their award at an event in London where they will also receive a cash prize.
The awards are open to any community group, voluntary organisation, school, college, nursery, club, youth group, sports team, health specialist, leisure centre, individual or charity.
Initiatives that tackle tough issues including obesity, emotional health or drug and alcohol misuse are all eligible to enter.
There are five categories: Healthy Eating, Physical Activity, Personal and Social Health, Emotional Health and Wellbeing and Safety and Citizenship.
