A miniature artwork has been found on a napkin in a Preston bar.
Staff at the Yates’ bar on Church Street, were clearing tables on Tuesday night when they were met with a mini masterpiece, scribbled on a paper napkin.
The customer, known only as ‘E.Reynolds’, drew the picture of a Minion from the animated feature film, ‘Despicable Me’, during their visit to the bar on Tuesday evening.
Manger of the Yates’, Preston, Ben Harvey said he was impressed with the artwork.
He said: “I think it’s pretty smart to be honest.
“To think someone spent a few minutes just doodling and came up with that.”
Ben posted a picture of the doodle on the bar’s Facebook page which has been seen by around 10,000 people and shared over 136 times.
But, as yet, Ben and his staff are still to find the mystery artist.
He said: “We’ve had quite a bit of interest in it and people have been commenting on how good it is.
“Right now we’re keeping it in a safe place and are thinking of plans to either frame it or raffle it off to raise money for Cash for Kids.
But what Ben would really like to happen is to be contacted by the artist themselves.
He added: “We would really like to hear from E.Reynolds though because we’d like to tell them that we’re big fans.
“Hopefully they see the post so that we can congratulate them.”
One Facebook user, Jahmayne Nesta Morrison, posted a comment adding: “You defo need to find the person, they deserve a drink!”
