The MP for the Ribble Valley, Nigel Evans will take to the skies and jump out of a plane from 13,000 in aid of ABT The Soldiers’ Charity.

Though he has already completed two bungee jumps, Mr Evans said he is a little anxious about his latest feat.

He said: “There is some treipidation but I’m going to be strapped to someone who has done this thing many times so I’m sure I’ll be fine.”

Mr Evans will take part in the stunt on June 20 at Netherton in Wiltshire where he will join the Army’s Tiger Free-fall parachute team for the tandem jump.

He said: “It’s definiately on my bucket list but the fact that it is for such a great charity is just brilliant.”
