Debenhams in Preston has announced a new partnership with Help for Heroes, which supports wounded servicemen and their families.
The appeal launches on Saturday with a fund-raising weekend in the store. The appeal will last throughout March and Debenhams is aiming to raise a minimum of £75,000 nationally.
The retailer will also be supporting Help for Heroes with a range of limited edition merchandise.
Beverley Wilkes, store manager of Debenhams Preston, said volunteers would be selling merchandise and collecting donations.
She said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Help for Heroes.
“We’ll kick off the initiative with a fund-raising weekend in store on Saturday and Sunday with the support of local Help for Heroes volunteers who will be selling merchandise and collecting donations.”
