A Vietnamese restaurant is facing a potential fine of up to £30,000 for employing illegal workers following an immigration raid.

Officers visited Trungs, in Bolton-le-Sands, at 6.25pm last Thursday, April 24, acting on intelligence that the business was employing staff with no right to be and work in the UK.

Three men were arrested. A 29-year-old Malaysian national was working in breach of his visa conditions, a 37-year-old Vietnamese national had entered the country illegally and a 50-year-old Chinese national had overstayed his visa.
