A WORRIED Preston resident says it's only a matter of time before someone is killed on Deepdale Road.
Siraz Saleh, a 45-year-old who lives on the road, thinks the parking structure on the road makes pulling out of junctions not only difficult but dangerous.
And there's evidence to back it up, with the police confirming there has been two crashes in the last week and at least four in the last month.
Two of the incidents both happened at 5.07pm on Monday and Wednesday, one outside the Army Reserve Centre and the other at the junction between St Thomas' Road and Deepdale Road.
Although none of the incidents led to serious injuries, Siraz has warned if nothing is done the crashes will continue and "someone will be killed".
He said: "This has been going on for years and the accidents keep happening. People are parking legally but it means people coming out of the junctions either side can't see when they're pulling out and that's why the crashes are happening. It's an accident blackspot and I really hope something can be done otherwise someone will be killed."
