A spacious three-bedroomed home at a reasonable price
A spacious three bedroom mid-terrace property situated on a corner plot in a cul de sac.
The accommodation includes integral garage, through lounge dining area, archway through to fully fitted kitchen, French doors opening to a rear garden which is not directly overlooked.
1) What appealed to you most about the property?
The drive and garage. The amount of space for cars and storage. The garden is a great size for having friends around and having the occasional BBQ but it is easily maintained.
The patio area is great in the summer and the fact that there are patio doors which lead directly onto this area is fab. When I originally bought the house I had contemplated converting the garage into an extra room like the other properties on the street and this is still a potential development for who ever is to buy the property.
2) How long have you lived at the property?
Five years and have thoroughly enjoyed the years I have spent here. I am sad to be selling it as the property has grown and changed with my needs.
3) What have you done since moving into the property?
The first job that I completed was redecorating. I decided to keep it fairly neutral in order to open it up and create a light space. Then I decided to re-lay the drive along with taking up the pond from the back garden in order to create a more useable space. These two things made a big difference. More recently I have had a new boiler fitted in the property which is wonderful and quick.
4)Why are you selling?
I am due to get married next year and so my partner and myself are on the hunt for a new house.
5) What is your favourite room and why?
It would have to be the open plan living area downstairs, a lovely open space that can be used in a variety of ways.
The patio doors opening out into the garden creates a great atmosphere in the house. Being able to sit in the living room with the doors open is really relaxing and a great way to spend summer evenings.
6) What will you miss most about moving?
I will miss the space both inside and out. The drive is a massive bonus along with the garage and all of its storage space.
Another thing that I will miss greatly is the neighbours as they are fantastic and have really enjoyed living next door to them.
The entire neighbourhood is friendly and welcoming. Everyone looks out for each other.
7) How close are the amenities?
Everything is close. Ten minutes to get into town and then five minutes to get to the motorways. A range of shops are within walking distance along with a social club and pubs. There is a primary school a short walk away. There is also a choice of local park areas which are wonderful for children, dogs or running.
8) To whom would this property best be suited and why?
A family. The space and garden are great.
