A PROBE has been launched after a man allegedly committed “voyeurism” offences at Preston Railway Station.

British Transport Police officers have charged David Harold Jones, from Dorset Avenue, in Walton-Le-Dale, near Preston, with recording another person doing a private act with the intention of obtaining sexual gratification.

The allegation against the 63-year-old relates to an incident on October 1 this year.

Jones entered a not guilty plea to the charge in his first appearance before the court.

He is expected to appear for a trial before Preston Magistrates’ Court on January 18.

In the meantime, he has been granted bail with a condition not to enter the toilets at Preston Railway Station.
