Police seize £200,000 of drugs on M6

Police stopped a car on the M6 on Tuesday night and seized cocaine and amphetamine.

At around 10.30pm a Vauxhall Vectra was stopped on the M6 near Kendal, where drugs with an estimated value of £200,000 were seized.

A 42-year-old male from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs, and is currently helping police with enquiries, Cumbria Police said.
