Police have launched a fresh appeal to find a 15-year-old boy who has not been seen for a week.

Shaquile George, was last seen at his home on Mill Lane, Bolton-le-Sands at around 5.45pm on Monday 13 July.

The boy is described as Afro-Caribbean, around 5ft 9 tall, slim, with black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit with white stripes down the sides and an over the shoulder satchel.

He wears a diamond earring in his right ear and has an inch long mark under his left eye.

PS Ian McVety of Morecambe Police urged anyone with information to get in touch.

He said: “Shaquile has been missing for a week now and we are getting increasingly concerned about him.

“He is not thought to have any money with him and has no means of supporting himself and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to call us.

“Similarly, I would once again urge Shaquile, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch with us so we can be sure that he is safe.”

He is known to have links to the Lancaster area, and officers believe he could also be in the Doncaster or Sheffield areas of South Yorkshire, or the Bootle area of Merseyside.

Anyone with information can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting incident reference 1569 of July 13.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
