A community football club has scored a bumper funding goal.

The Adactus Housing Neighbourhood Fund has recently granted funding to Preston Pirates Football Club for new pop-up football goals and training balls.

Adactus’ fund supports communities across the North West.

And Chris Rasburn spokesman for Preston Pirates believes the money towards kit is essential.

He said: “We’re delighted that Adactus Housing decided to provide the funding.

“It makes a massive difference to our club when we receive such support because it allows us to keep down the costs for parents .

“This is particularly important as so many people are struggling at present.”
