An accountancy practice has been given a finance package to boost its expansion plans over the next two years.
Studholme-Bell was established in Euxton, Chorley, five years ago by chartered accountant and entrepreneur Alex Bell.
It now employs 14 people providing accountancy services and business advice to small and medium-sized businesses in Lancashire.
It has been handed a finance package from Lancashire County Council’s Rosebud Fund to support its plans to double in size within the next two years.
Alex said: “Studholme-Bell is growing steadily because we understand the needs of small businesses. We go beyond traditional accountancy by pro-actively finding ways to help them save money.
“However continued expansion requires us to have the right resources in place and Rosebud finance is allowing us to do this.”
County Councillor Michael Green, cabinet member for economic development, environment and planning said: “By supporting companies that want to expand, we can bring new jobs into the county and continue to build a strong economy.”
